Clearing the Way

Seven years ago, Clear Creek RVs opened in Abilene, Texas with four employees and a small lot of RVs. Today, we're proud to be recognized statewide for the training-first culture that got us here.

Built From the Ground Up

Owner Jason Calkins started Clear Creek RVs on a 10-acre lot with a rolling inventory of about 30 units. Since then, the dealership has grown more than sevenfold in staff size and, this past May, posted its best monthly sales volume to date.

Calkins says that growth didn't happen by accident. Early on, he pursued formal dealership management training and joined a dealer peer group to benchmark performance against other stores, using those lessons to build sales and service reporting into the daily routine.

What Sets Our Team Apart

The people and practices behind Clear Creek RVs' recognition in RV News.

Training-First Culture

Every new hire, regardless of prior RV experience, goes through structured onboarding and ongoing manufacturer training.

Hiring for Character

We prioritize work ethic and willingness to learn over industry résumés, then build the technical skills from there.

Data-Driven Operations

Daily sales and service reports keep every department accountable to clear, trackable performance metrics.

Purpose-Built Facility

Our service center uses a two-bay-per-technician workflow designed to keep repairs moving and cycle times low.

One Team, Every Department

From sales and finance to parts and service, Clear Creek RVs' leadership team meets weekly to review performance and keep every department aligned around the same goals.

That collaborative approach — paired with a strong benefits package and a genuine "performance-driven family" culture — is part of what RV News highlighted in its August 2026 dealer profile.
